you must be clocking up some miles then Kev.
I know traveling alone wont garuntee catching a bigger fish but would give the oppurtunity as the Zander where we have been going only run to 6-7lb
as the E.A periodicaly electrofish the canal.
The Sharpness Canal looks interesting it as approx.110 miles away from where i live and the Coventry canal is about 65 miles away but travel time probably wouldn,t be much different because it will be mainly m-way M6,M5.
