| Last nights Zander session I had a trip with two of my mates last evening to the Coventry canal near Tamworth after Zander. We arrived about 30 mins before dark but on arrival and looking at the canal my heart sank,i couldnt believe the colour of the water it was like chocolate with visibility down to about 1". Any way we tried to put on a brave face and started to fish ,3 of us with 2 rods each spread over about 50 yds on a section of the canal that usually produces for us ,2 hrs passed and not a bleep for any of us,so we decided to move along a bit further to another section that usually produces for us but same again we didnt have a bleep between us over the next 2 hours so at about 11:30pm we decided we were flogging a dead horse and jacked in. Oh well thats how my fishing has been lately,HARD GOING!!,but i,m one to give in easily so here,s to my next trip and hopefully another go next weekend. robm     |

| Re: Last nights Zander session i am the suprised rob that you did not like the colour normally when the fen drains are that colour the zander love it and they like coloured water and feed well in coloured water as they can ambush the prey so much easier . i would probably have put it down to air pressure as it rose up to yesterday but it could be all manner of things really . zander can be so frustrating at times but least you went and as i ,ve all ways said you ain,t going to catch watching east enders better luck next time tightlines kevin  |

| Re: Last nights Zander session Blanks are part and parcel of fishing. I always find that after a blank session i,m even keener to get back and have another go,having put a bit more thought into what i,m doing. robm |
