| Re: aborted runs frustrating Kev, those eels have been really active of late on the Middle, Relief and the Cut-off. What i've been finding is the eel activity seems to die off around 1:00am and then if you still have any baits left, that's when you get a chance of a Zander. Guess it will all change in a few months once the Eel activity dies down. I'm having a break from the middle this week and heading for the Relief Channel - Great report though, I think i'll need to practice my writing skills - Ill attempt my first report after this weekend Barrie |

| Re: aborted runs frustrating i remember one session a few years back on the relief channel on a freezing november night, when despite the sub zero temperatures the eels were on a feeding frenzy, a bait wasnt left alone longer than 10 minutes and they were even attacking lives, my mate actually landed 3 of them that night, i remember how shocked we were seeing an eel come out in those temperatures! ![]() |
