| Re: through the reeds to get them zeds although they were put in woburn abbey lakes as far back 1878. zeds were again introduced in 1963 where 100 fingerling zander were put into the releif channel and these have had a big impact angling ever since and they have been successfully breeding they have become more wide spread and infiltrated the drain systems by all the interconnecting drains and also they have become wider spread through illegal stocking into still water and other river systems and the record was once held by ray armstrong from birmingham who caught a massive zed on the river seven at a weigh of 18lb 10oz so how far have they now spread so do not be dispondent i bet with a bit of home work there might be a venue near you that contains zed . but from a bias point of view i think they are the coolest fish to be caught and i know from some of the remarks , some of you on here obviously are starting to think the same tightlines kev ![]() |
