Steve,

Work permitting I'm going to be on the canal for the meet up at some point....even if I'm not fishing that day (Can't see that happening really though!!).

As for sea baits....



....I've had Zander on Smelt and Sprat in the past - both out for Pike in coloured water. I'm not overly convinced on the sea baits being Zedd taboo as I'm sure they are more inclined to scavenge than actively hunt and surely they can't tell the difference just by smell/chemo reception - can they??
