thames zander

hi,does anyone on here fish the thames?
i caught a 13.10 zander from the thames last week,2oz short of the thames record,picture will be in tomorrows anglers mail.

Well done on your capture, I look forward to reading the report.
I am hoping to fish the river soon in pursuit of Perch, have never caught a Z. I prefer to use ultralight tackle, have had a few good fish from my local stretch of the Medway. I don't think that there are Z's in the river but you never know.
I am intending to fish the free stretches below Staines Bridge, any pointers?

hi chef,hotspot for perch and zander is teddington loch.
it holds the the record for both species.
