1st zander help

Hey all I aint been on here for a while due to off the bank problems, was as the weathers takin a change to the cold nights/days we all wait for in the season, was wondering if anyone could advise me on any lures for zander? Coulors size? Weight? Depths? I fish the river severn so I know there's some nize zeds in there plus the canal by me holds a few I should think as it comes right off the severn, last season I had pike to 16lb 12oz on deadbaits but this year I fancy abit of lure fishing I sorted myself out with all the lure stuff and have had some fun on then so far, bt as for zander I still aint had one and was wondering if any of you guys knew what lures would work?
