HELP ME CATCH MY 1st ZED PLEASE

CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME CATCH MY FIRST ZANDER PLEASE I'M TRYING TO CATCH A FEW FIRST THIS YEAR I'VE DONE MY FIRST CAT MY FIRST 10LB+ BARBEL ECT ECT I'M A MATCHMAN OF OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIANCE AND NOW JUST WANT GET A SPECIMEN LIST TOGETHER AS I'M BORED OF MATCH FISHING . I'D LIKE JUST SOME GENERAL HELP ON BEST BAITS ,RIGS ,TIME OF YEAR AND TIME OF DAY/NIGHT ALSO IS THERE ANYWHERE IN THE SOUTH YORKSHIRE AREA THAT WOULD GIVE ME AREASONABLE CHANCE IF NOT WHERE ABOUTS SHOULD I BE HEADING ALL INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

There are loads of threads on this forums Zander section which cover our catches and rigs etc.....it will take a bit of time reading through them but most have some useful tips.

I did a write up for another forum last year which covered most items, if I still have this on my PC I will send it to you.

Is the Trent anywhere near you? the Trent is meant to hold some goods Zeds but I have no info about the river.

I would advise coming down to the fens for two or three days, good numbers of decent sized zander with a good chance of some large Zeds as well.

cheers for that pal i'm going to have a read through a few tonight and take notes the trent is fairly close by and i know it quite well i've heard about a few zander coming out but details are scetchie at best i don't mind traveling down to fens i was also thinking of ferry meadows but would like to get a bit of knowledge about the fish first so i don't have a wasted trip so even if i dont get one at least i know i was doing my bit right
