Welches Dam- Fens

Hi, I am thinking of heading up to Welches Dam but don't know anything about it! Anyone know if its free to fish or day ticket? Anyone kmnow how well it fishes for Zander and Pike?

Any info would be much appreciated.

it was frozen last weekend , dont know about now!

Day tickets on the bank and season ticket as well, a few years ago was not expensive,,,£5 for a day with two rods, there is a very, very, very deep pool under the bridge and often has a good flow... when its full of topping bait size fish you know the pike esp are not far behind.....did an overnight trip once...but the bank was infested with mice, all over the gear, on my sleeping bag lol,

sometimes the road from Littleport is flooded so try and check before you go coz its a long drive to get in from another route

Its worth a try and over a few trips I am sure you will conect with some pike, i have never had a zed out of there, but they will be there and were in the past
