Zander on gloucester canal

Hi guys just wondering if anyones heard of anything happening on the zander front ? Hope to have an evening session this thursday if anyone fancies it ?

We haven't been out on the Severn or the canal for ages due to work commitment and the fact we are have a bit of trouble with our boat.
I have heard from a very good source that 18lbs+ Well's cat fish has come out of the Canal at Saul Junction, the fish was returned to the canal.

i had a 5pound zed on sat just as it got light 630ish then notting all day stayed till 2030 nothing may give it a go friday evening its fishing very poor at the moment anyone got any ideas why that could be

well im going to give it go tomorrow for a few hours if all goes to plan and be fishing a bit further down the canal to get away from the stella heads
