zander and pike

i've been catching few pike of late in areas / conditions where i had hoped to have some zeds, is any body catching zeds and pike at this time together ...or do you think they separate as they tend to group up for spawning in a few weeks?

Re: zander and pike

I have noticed in the past on the ouse that swims that have produced zander early season only produce pike late on. One swim i had 14 pike and only 1 zed in a day! I concluded that the pike were gathering to spawn and the zander had gone elswhere! I wish i knew where!!!! lol
