Middle level Zander

Hi there,

I have fished the Middle level on and off for a few years now and have yet to catch a double from there although most of the fish have been nice at 8-9lb.

I mainly fish up at the St. Germans area but if anyone could suggest areas that could hold larger fish i would be grateful for a pointer in the right direction.

Cheers

Kev

Re: Middle level Zander

Hiya
i had a season on the ML a couple of years ago, first trip was an overnight in Nov and i had a 12lb zed and lost another biggy, from near the Germans,,, "cracked it" i thought lol.....then had nowt but a couple of jacks for the rest of the season, and i did a good few trips! so i would say, if you are catching 8's and 9's you are doing something right and i'd be inclined to say stick with it and a lump could show up soon, or you can up sticks and come and blank on the Ouse as I have of late lol

good luck
Tony

Re: Middle level Zander

LOL! I've had a few blanks on the ouse too!!!!!!!!! Has anyone had a good season on there?

Cheers for the reply. I think you are right about sticking with it. I'm sure there are many big fish in there just waiting for my bait!
