Re: New Zander meet Date Poll

Hi all

It was good to meet you all, putting face's to name's.

I was surprised to see that you are all normal (except Twiddler...only joking) I really enjoyed the days fishing even thought it was a bit frustrating, but the company, banter etc... really made up for it

The evening meal/drinks in the Pilot Inn was good. its a shame it was over so soon

I want to thank you all for the meeting, Richard and co for a cracking
Forum and Kabbychris for the lifts, cheers mate

Congratulations to Banana Steve for the fish of the day the others who caught some nice Pike as well and special well done for trying to Twiddler, the language coming from her umbrella kept me chuckling through out the day

You all are characters, which made the day

How Richard predicted the fish would feed at 3.00pm is amazing, I think we need to check his bag when he arrives next time LOL

Below are two picture taken by Greenheart of the Zander I caught, its a shame he didn't focus on my good side LOL

I look forward to meeting you all again

Thanks

Darrell

PS some cracking photos of the day taken by various members

Re: New Zander meet Date Poll

Granny Twiddler

It was good meeting you

If you are interested let me know when you can spend a weekend end up my way and I will guarantee you will get your Zander, Late summer and autumn are best times

You can spend the Friday night at mine and then fish Sat though to Sunday, that also goes for any members on the Zander meet

The other alternative is to move the yearly meet forward to late autumn but you will have to contend with the boat traffic

Darrell

I know Pauly but I don't think Mrs Greenheart would have been impressed if I would have taken a few 'groundbait' chunks out fo Ian

Well, thank you for the invite Darrell, I will take you up on it...I was surprised to hear there are zander in the Ouse

And I will return the favour and will put you on your first Grayling
