fish finders Hi all I hope you are all catching a few Zander, leave some for me I am thinking of purchasing a fish finder to use on a boat to find features on the fens, can anyone recommend one, it needs to be user friendly and not cost a fortune as i will probably only use it once or twice as i plan to hire a boat for a few days to find some features ready for my winter pursuit of the fascinating Zander Cheers Darrell

Re: fish finders I'm not sure if this is allowed so could a moderator delete this and inform me if this is wrong! There is a company called GComn who are selling off older unit fishfinders at greatly reduced prices. I have just bought a hummingbird 383c for my fishing kayak for £289 opposed to the £425 retail price - send me a pm if you want the full details and I'll dig out the invoice with the information on.

Re: fish finders I went with the hummingbird because the warrenty extends to kayaks - and the tranducers as standard will shoot though the hull.
