Hot spots

Hi all

I have a few days off this week and plan to fish for pike and zander on the fens, does anyone know any areas that are fishing well?

Thumbs up Re: Hot spots

Hi Tony

Thanks for the info

I did not recieve your info untill i had arrived at the Forty Foot early this morning.

I travelled light and fished many swims with only one little knock untill 10.30am,
I read your info and then made my way to LittlePort as you mentioned, I had a run within 10mins but it dropped it, I missed 2 more runs, again the baits being dropped so i decided i would hit the bites as soon the bobbin rose 3 inches, the next three bites I connected and landed three Zander before running out of bait, the first was around 3lb, the second was 7lb and the 3rd was 13lb, a good day considering the lousy start and the frustration of missing the first 3 or 4 bites. theses were the first zander i have caught during day light.

How did you get on? I was going to pop over to see you but i could not remember where the sugar beet / Roswell was

cheers

Darrell

PS. Thanks again for the info, it changed my day
