looking forward to venturing out this weekend for a dangle, now that the freeze is over, any of you others out there gonna have a go?

i only seemed to get into a few pike over crimbo / new year with no zeds showing, but to be fair I didnt do any nights since late dec

no fish to report so i wont be on the front of angling times this week!!!

I missed a couple of runs that were probably pike..and small ones at that from teh size of the teeth marks...oh and my brolly blew inside out first, and then collapsed in on me, breaking a few arms and tearing holes in the fabric so that is kaput, why do i bother i thought ot myself!!!

next planned trip is for this Friday to Saturday, suspect the conditions will be grim and the Zeds in hiding !! happy days lol

well i managed a zed of 6lb ish so mission accomplished, but the ouse was full of Sh=t and every time i retrieved the braid was like a washing line with fine weed that clogged the eyes lol... then the rushes from some bank works kept wiping out the rods ......so at 2am on sat morning i threw the rods up the bank and got back in the sleeping bag for a good kip

just hope the rain backs off this week so the river calms down!!!

yeah your right and i was pleased, but catching a zed (a nice plump 6lber) just as it got dark i really fancied a few more / a lump, shame, praps next time eh !
