Zander , yes please

hi,

I am new to Zander fishing .

Tried Ramsey Forty Foot on the Fens Sunday just gone with any joy.

Any suggestions as to where to fish for a sniff for someone without much experience in this species.

Many thanks

Hi mate, Try the Great Ouse nr Ely or the Old west at Streatham but be prepared to fish into dark as all of a sudden they seen to switch on as dusk falls. The Forty Foot has been out of sorts for a few seasons now for the Zander but plenty of Pike are still about.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Any idea on postcodes for the Sat nav with your suggestions, as I travelling from Essex in the Dark ?

also, what what rigs do you recommend ? The Ramsey Fort Foot seemed to be covered in weed.

thanks again

Gary
