| zander calling ok, its that time of year,,,,for me the zanderign starts after the bank holidy so just a few more tenching blanks and then the zander quest, last year i started on / in Roswell but after a good few years fancied a change so moved to the Middle Level and 1st hit a PB, struggled after that but i am keen to get out there again and perhaps a bit earlier than last year ie,,,,before the prey fish scarper - where do they go any one out there had a good zandering summer??     |

| Re: zander calling yes i been zedding for the last month or so and im catching them at the min loads off little ones 3 to 4lb mark and a couple off 7s and im out this friday and saturday for them looking for that first double off mine i will get it trust me  |

| Re: zander calling Good news you are getting amongst them and that the zeds are active, save some forthe rest of us!! A double is out there for you for sure! Perhaps a larger bait a bit away from the area that you are catching in might pick up a bigger fish that is not part of the shoal but just trailing them/the bait fish might do it? I did ok with a whole lamprey on Roswells for a while. See you out there soon! Good luck tony |
