arrrg you mean we need to walk further than 10 yards away from the car?......That'll kill me lol

Sounds good to me guys, but this midweek thing... bit of a problem for those of us with boring, none tackle shops type jobs ... I presume we're talking day light here?

Re: 2008 Zander Meet Report

Would have to be dude, less people! I try not to have anything to do with weekends if i can help it! Sunday evenings are sometimes good, Saturdays if it's remote, but it's got to be daylight for the most time on the beach, and if Twiddler and entourage ( make up van, mobile shoe shop etc.) are coming a long way, then it would give them a good day out. Throw a sickie! Don't know what you do for work, but grab a days holiday, or time in lieu possibly?

Two points of order !!!

make up van and mobile shoe shop!!! you obviously do not know this lady ( more like jackboots and a camo stick!)

and taking a sickie is a certain curse on fishing, the gods of fishing know when you are skivving and always give you a blank or break your favourite rod!

Best thing to do is to introduce your Boss to fishing. Then he will probably sneak out with you. It's a well known fact that most Boss'es are skivvers anyway....
