Super stuff all, shame there wasn't many fish caught, but looks like a great day anyway.

Good effort guys, and well done to those who caught Pike, I hope Baggierich conveyed my greetings to Twiddler, as per our conversation in the morning! When you going to come down to Gods country and buy some beach rods then Twiddler? LOL Just kidding, doubt if you'd get past the border guards anyway! Thats the two old guys on the M5 with pitchforks!

Ha you only want me to spend a fortune at your shop.....gotta make sure to leave my plastic at home, or I'll buy the whole shop.

Indeed Baggie past on your msg.....and I'll take your invite up to fish but only if Max is there....I might kidnap him though.
Baggie was on his knees and begged that he can come too, he said you know all the good secret spots for decent fish.

Re: 2008 Zander Meet Report

You've got to leave your plastic what at home?! Seriously though, you guys should pop down, we've got a good range of gear in, you'd enjoy it.
As to the secret places to fish... well not too sure about that, they never seem to work that well for me! I'd be happy to meet you and baggie etc up at Chesil one day for a social though, somewhere far away from the car parks, wherethe screams won't be heard!!!! Just kidding, i'm sure your casting's fine, and yes, if it's at all possible, Max will be with me, don't much like going without him now.

Re: 2008 Zander Meet Report

Screams when i take you, baggie and whoever else wants to pop along to an area i've caught in before, and i proceed to blank in a spectacular manner!!! That usually happens! Does'nt really matter though, theres a couple of places along Chesil that have a fairly steep slope behind, so i can take cover from the flying leads!! Besides which, most of my marks are about 100 miles to the west of there! You don't think i'd give everything away, do you?

And if you came into the shop, i would'nt let you spend more than a grand!

Re: 2008 Zander Meet Report

I have about 4 days in March when i can get up there, it'd be worm baits targeting Plaice, providing the weathers good, the Plaice will be scarce, but theres always a chance, get in touch with Baggie, Pingu etc, and see if we could have a mini social that way, it'd be midweek, so's to avoid crowds, and Max can run about like he does without annoying too many people, I have the dates somewhere, just can't remember where at present! Old age, i suppose!
