Your much better off fishing up stream of the bridge I will give Ian a phone tommorrow. The canal has been fished by people with spinning rods and taking them for the pot You will get some zanders with the top bait being live bait roach . The trouble will be getting the roach. There is another spot on the canal

I was planing on getting there about midday, having a lunch in the pub, leave my car there, fish on until say 8pm then get a bite to eat and shoot home. I don't know if that sounds about right to everyone else?
