feel the fenland winds

well me and my mate decide to go zedding for the evening on a choosen venue. we got there about 2.30pm and then was hoping to catch some bait fish for the evening. so then as we got a few baits it was time to get the main rods out. so then out they went and traps set. i was very confident that i was gonna catch i just had that feeling. so then on me and my mate had a brew my left rod bleep once. so i went to the rod and sat there then it gave me 5 bleeps so i soon strike at that. but missed it dam i went .so rebait the rod up and out it went again. so that about 20mins later my mates rod done a fast run for about 5 secs. time he got to it. it stopped gutted he was. so then straight after that my left rod was bleeping again. about another 5 bleeps so i soon hit that again but missed that aswell. and i thought to myself i must be doing summit wrong. so i think it was my stem the fish was not daft they know. so then on bait that back up and out it went to the same place. then about 15mins later my mates rod done another fast run again. but we think it might off been the swans lol so then he left it. then bye this time winds was blowing but not cold at all. time was ticking to i decide to move my baits about. then my same left rod done another 5 or6 bleeps and nothing there again. i was getting stressed out about it .then me an my mate was thinking about the next session and where to go. then my mate said its gone quiet now for a while .then at 10.03pm my mates rod was alive it went like a steam train it did not stop. he was soon on to it and he said it was on. and i was hoping it was a zed he said its fighting hard and heavy. double i thought but soon got him in the net and it was hooked on one single hook out off 6. wow lucky that wass soon got the sling out and scales i said about 7lb so then on lifting it up 7lb 10oz my mate was chuffed to bits

so then we gave it about another hour and dead as a door nail it was so decide to pack up and go till next time
