he thinks he steve irwin

well me and my mate decide to go zedding on a new area on a choosen venue
when we got there we had a chat to some person about zeds very nice bloke so then we got setup up and then the bivvys up and out the rods went to set the traps so then me and my mate got our heads down in the bivvys as was a mild night with lots off cloud about then at about 8.30pm my right rod sounded so jump out the bivvy to on the rod and i was on playing a nice fish yes a zed so got the landing net then lost it at the net gutted i was choked so then rebaited that then out it went again and went an had a cupper with my mate talking about zeds and pike and where going next session he was not getting much luck just the odd bleeps and he realing in with stripped fish to the bones so i said thats eels do that so then i went back to my bivvy to get some sleep and than at 10.50pm my left rod was bleeping so i jumped out off the bivvy and down the bank on to it and it was hooked and fighting well but got it up a nice zander again so my mate got the net and in it went this time and soon got him weighed up yes i beat my pb now 8lb 2oz get in there i said chuffed to bits

so on putting it back it shot off a like a rocket so bait up again and out it went so we got back in the bivvys for a sleep weather still good i herd my mates alarms still bleeping away them eels i know how he feel i been there like that hitting every thing on the bleeps lol so then i got woken again at 4.02am with my alarms going so i was soon on to it and it was on so on playing it in up it came another zed nice but lost it at the net again gutted thats 2 now i was but nevermind cant catch them all so then after a while morning was coming up and my mate had nothing threw the night so now i recast the rods out and him aswell and then after alittle while my mates alarms was going mad and stripping line so he was on to it and hooked he said it pulling well and up it came a nice looking pike got it in the net and soon weighed it up it hit the scales at 7lb 13oz thats his new personal best pike

so on putting it back and recast about 15 mins later his other rod was going mad and alarms so he soon got on to that and he said now this is fishing hard it was stripping line from his reel he was playing it for ages just got a sight off it it was a huge pike then it shot in the reeds took him right in and could not get it out off there it was well stuck in there so he said to me feel the water so i did it felt like ice so he said im going in after it i said what you think you steve irwin he laughed i said dont risk your life for a fish mate he said i will be ok i said no you wont just leave it but he took no notice off me and in the river he went with my landing net he wanted that fish so bad then after a while he came back with it i said you mad he was frozen to the bone lucky he had some extra clothing on him so then we got it weighed up i said to him a new pb again 2 in one day it went 14lb 13oz well the look on his face and he said now that was worth the risk

so then after that it was packing up time and headed off home till next time
