| Re: Almost time for Zander Fishing to start Hi Fella's, Im new to the website but have been Zandering for 13yrs or so now, mainly in the Fens but I've also had em from elsewhere, including the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal in the 90's. I don't mind a bit of summer fishing and have had some good uns in June but once the heat of July and August starts to get up, I tend to leave it til September. This year of course was a little different with all of the rain and with the weather being a bit cooler in July, I managed a 'holy grail' of 2 doubles in a night - and from a rather unfashionable drain. The biggest was a lovely 11lb 6oz so I am well happy with that :-) Hoping for a PB this winter! |
