Zanderman is on a distinguished road
Hi I'm new here

I've just found this site so I thought I would join in.

I suppose I should come clean I have only ever fished for Zander twice in the Uk so my Zander PB is 8lb 12oz however I have over the last 20 years fished at least once a year for Snookbaar in Holland on Rivers like :- The Ijseel, Vecht, Regge, Maas and Waal, Canals Zwartswasser, Overijseel and also on Meers like Filomeer, Joymeer and Ilseelmeer.

I stay with a mate of mine that fishes for the Dutch national predator team so when we go I get to fish with the best Gilly that an angler could have.

Over the years I have managed to get my hook in on the odd occasion, fishing not only for Zander but also for the very large Pike (Snook) and Asp (One of my favourite targets).

In Holland 90% of our fishing for Zander is Jigging, this just has to be one of the best fun ways to take fish and of course ALL of our fishing is spent during the daylight hours (In Holland the dark hours are set aside for on going appointments with Hine-Ken).

Anyway enough of my rubbish, if anyone is interested in Dutch Zander Pike or Asp fishing just pop up a post and I will avail you of what little I know.

Oh yes I also fish for Roach and Barbel when I am not working or sleeping or going to Holland.

Tight lines
