Of course I remember now..It's always a bit confusing the first time you turn up...trying to remember everyones name!

I've been moving house this last 2 weeks but when I've managed a session the Avon has been fishing very well for pike between 3 - 9lb nothing massive but plenty of fish plus bonus perch most sessions. You have to get up early though as the takes really die off once the sun gets up. If you can bear it a 5.00am start is perfect and gives you a good 4-5 hours fishing, then home for a nice fry up! hoping to give the Severn a go in the next two weeks and then maybe a quick session on the stretch of the avon that we will be fishing in Tewkesbury at the zander match...your welcome to come down if you fancy a practice session or if you fancy trying any of the other nice stretches down here. where abouts do you do most of your fishing?

Re: first Zed!

HI

most of my lure fishing i do is at lapworth on the grand union - 10mins from mine - usally in the evenings at the weekends 4 till 8ish

There is the canal and two pools to fish - had zander, pike and an eel from there - would love to fish the rivers more but not sure where to go - would rather be shown where to go , than me going by myself and wasteing time finding the places -

tywkesbury takes me 45 mins but worcester is just that bit closer - def will be ther 29/09 but have commitments till then ie wife working and son playing football - will have a chat in sept and poss arrange something...

look forward to seeing you there Terry...you'll have to re-introduce yourself, I'm not positive i can remember your face (crap memory!) would be happy to show you a few good spots on the Avon/Severn...although to be honest I'm finding more myself all the time as I'm far from being a seasoned expert! see you at the LAS meet!
