I have one hell of a decision to make now.

Theres a plane leaving Bristol airport on Sunday for an `all inclusive` 7 night holiday in Cyprus. 30 degrees c, food and alcohol til I drop, the four esses...yes thats Sun, Sea ,Sand and Scenery and not what you were all thinking lol. That plane has a seat reserved for me.

Trouble is that takes me away for two whole weekends. Away from the cold murkey waters of the bristol channel, where certain death awaits the careless boat owner that dares to take the local weather forecast at face value. Away from the bootlace sized congers and the dogfish that are caught slightly more frequently that than a dose of hepatitus or weils desease from Cardiff bay. Away from the chilling easterly winds blowing down the channel that make Siberian winters seem like Summer in comparison. Away from the Rannie Spit that cant decide whether to suck you under or tip you over or simply scare the sh*t out of you.

God I hate having to make decisions.....

Where in Cyprus is the holiday. Greek or Turkish area? East or west? Weather is generally pretty good at this time of the year. I spent 6 months there (Sep. 89 - Mar 90) on an UN peacekeeping tour.

Sorry I missed you before I went mate. I went just outside Agia Napa which is on the south eastern part of the island. Not far from Famagusta which I guess is not far from where you did your tour with the UN. My mate who came with us also did a tour there with the Queens Dragoon Guards. Not sure when though. He`s retired from the forces now.
