Hi i have been fishing for just over a year and i would like to go Bass fishing, can any body tell me the best place to go. I live nr Bridgend. Thanks

Aberthaw is probably the closest mark to you. I haven't fished there myself but supposed to be good at low tide. Also the Gower beaches have a good reputation for bass fishing providing you can get past the surfers! Aberthaw is a bass nursery though so some restrictions may apply on keeping fish but it's always nice to see them swim off again anyway.

lots of surfers at rhossilli last weekend couldn't really get on the beach. ended up fishing off of the rocks near worms head. never had any floats though (we didnt count on that many beach users!) so ended up catching big spider crabs. this could be good if using floats i think we just went under prepaired!!!!!!!!
