Porthcawl and Ogmore areas

Not a lot happening at the moment, I have been out nearly every weekend and nothing major to report. Today met a couple of guys fishing on the beach between Ogmore and Newton they fished the tide in and out trying for Bass, Thier basket was empty at the close and not even a knock. Still the cold snap should bring in the usual fish for this time of year,Pouting, Whiting and the odd big Cod. I will keep the messages board posted if anything changes. Tibbsie.
