hi all just been to collect 1.5 lbof lugworm from nathen in clydach swansea and when i unwraped them they were the worst pile of worms ive ever seen,dead,soft,and loosing a lot of blood just a waste; so buyer beware stay well away coz you will have the oldest worms he has mine went in the bin

Sorry to hear that,but when i buy rag i see the shop owner weigh it out and wrap it infront of me,also i have a gander at the worms before i buy. You could still try and use it as bait and make the best of a bad job???

I livein clydach, so it has to be hr jones, as i dont know of any other bait shop there, an i had some good bait from them, the mud rag was good, but i do know wot u mean bout the lug though an the king rag,they keep ther king rag in water an not in peat like other fishing shops i know, an they keep the lug in water to, an they dont need to do that, as other fishing shops i know say they shoulnt, they are ok with frozen bait an they have a goood range of tackle there an will get anything in you ask for tackle wise.

Margate boy, when you say sand white, are you meaning, white rag,an if so do they have to be kept in water to be kept alive. cheers
