Re: 24 hr bait shop

when ever i gert bad bait, i keep it as mush (ground bait) an just chop it all up esp the worms, as where i fish is in the marina or in river tawe for the bass an mullet, if i going after mullet an i got dead worms, i get a bucket, chop loads of bread up put some water in just a litteto moisten it up, an then chop the worms in to it,if i going after the bass,i get a bucket add a tin a sardines an dead sandeels together an mush it all up so when you throw it in the water it creates a loverly scent trail. I use to be mainly into frehs water fishing when younger an did ground baiting all the time.
I didnt think bout ground baiting till bout a month back, when i was with some friends, an another friend came off the trawler an gave me some dead spider crab, an so we put them all in bag, an just crushed it into a paste, an we was fishing the prince dock an we threw it in, an literally with in 5 minutes, i was in to 2lb + bass, an getting knocks for the next hour, we was only there for bout 2 hours.
Now i alawys mush my swim up when i fish for bass an mullet. If you look in my pics an see the 5ib bass i have i ground baited that swim with dead sand eel, as i brought a pound of live sand eel the day b4 an some had died over night , so i cut them up n cucked them in the water an literally within 5 minutes i was into a 5lb bass, so twice now within 5 minutes, i have had bass after mushing it up.
The 2ilb bass i caught on king rag an the 5lb bass was caught on live sand eel

Margate boy, when you say sand white, are you meaning, white rag,an if so do they have to be kept in water to be kept alive. cheers
fishermad...this is NOT HR JoNES...this thread is over 12 months old...there used to be a guy down there nathan??? who started a 24 bait shop which failed due to quality of bait!!
