Hi there, going to take caravan and missus down to South Wales in September and I am after some local knowledge on marks near to tenby and pembroke. Going to take my zodiac as well so any inshore marks would be of great help in getting me started. Any bait shops in the local area where i can get peeler and sandeels? I lure fish for bass in luce bay as often as i can, any good plug marks for bass nearby? Cheers.

Re: Advice on marks near Freshwater East, Nr Pembroke You can bass fish off the old lifeboat slip (if it's still ther) plenty of dogfish from the bottom along with small turbot off saundersfoot harbour wall, Mackerel should still be about and harbour walls in Tenby and saundersfoot will produce, around to coppit hall beach in the evening most small fish come in close so later in the tide the decent fish tend to come in behind them. Peeler crab may be in short supply if you are lucky enough to find a shop open, as for boat fishing marks I can only suggest deep gulley between caldy and the mainland for tope or follow the MV Summertime which will locate mackerel shoals.

Re: Advice on marks near Freshwater East, Nr Pembroke Just thought of another mark in Tenby if you are at the bandstand at the front fish on the rocks to your right, expect bass and mackerel to the float and dogfish to bottom in the evening
