| Re: Bass porthmadog / harlech Are you serious ? Tiger bay? You go fishing down there you'd be lucky to come out alive :) If you mean the docks in Cardiff, it is turning in to an area with some very promising coarse fishing. The barrage is stuffed with both coarse fish and low saline tolerant sea fish like mullet. Cardiff East dock has been a good fishery for some time. The feeder canal was always stuffed full of roach. The rivers Ely and Taff both now flow in to the barrage and look promising . Further up the Taff is becoming a well established Barbel river, nearer Radyr grayling are showing in worthwile numbers . Sea fishing can be done off the barrage and there's a charter boat or two down penarth marina. So all in all, Cardiff is looking good. Check the harbour authority website, Glamorgan Anglers and do a search for Penarth Charters. Of course Hereford is no slouch either with some amazing fishing in the Wye. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk Last edited by barbelblanker; 08-22-2010 at 08:10 PM.
