Mad one is on a distinguished road
St brides open...

Well, i fished st brides open yesterday with 112 other danglers, 82 of us blanked, but that means 31 caught fish, was'nt the best of conditions (small tide, shallow water) beautiful sunshine though, anyway, had all the usual baits in my armoury (lug, rag, squid, crab, mackeral etc. "Whoops" forgot to grab my sandeels. LOL ) but whether i was casting close in with size '2' hooks on a three hook flapper, at distance with a '4'0' long and low pennel, or mid range with a 2'0' pulley (or combinations of all the above) i just could'nt connect with the fish, just not my day i suppose, one thing that did annoy me though was the amount of wally's who did nothing but moan (all day) about how small the tide was, can't these people read a tide table before entering a comp or what? anyway, thats enough of my ranting..Tight lines..
