Whiting?

HI all, just wondering if the whiting have started to show. Or is it still a bit early??

hi we have had a few on the east coast

saw a tiny one caught at portishead (english side channel sorry)last saturday
and they are along south coast here now so cant be far off

I had eight pin Whiting between five and seven inches all caught within an hour or so just after sunset on Brighton Marina on Saturday evening.

Bigger ones starting down our end over the last week but been having small pin whiting since july 1st.

Thanks for the info boys. I think i might wait a few weeks before i give it a go down here. I hope the cod are coming in staight behind them!!

had a few small whiting last week on pothcawl pier and so did other people but nothing big was caught but the bass r still showing in ogmore river that was 2 weeks ago had 2 small ones

Whiting are starting to show in minehead.

Caught plenty at Hayling Island the weekend saw some nice size ones coming out, TonyB had a few eaters.
