Smile Tues 30/1

Calm weather at last! Fished mid Cardiff buoy from 1000 to 1700 on a rising tide with lug. Caught 5 keepers (cod). All between 2 and 4 lb. Was plagued by small bites from tiny jeuvenile cod and whiting. Still, lots happening and lots of boats out - think I could see Plugger of Lavernock?
KKyum

PS Was pi**es off big time to come down to my boat and find that someone had ripped the solar pannel off the roof. Why won't people just leave stuff alone instead of stealing anything not chained down!!!!! Anyway - if anyone offers you a small solar pannel with no wiring be aware. Thats my gripe over. Back to fishin'.

I agree with you, you work to improve life or your fishing in this case and some low life comes along and tries to wreck it.

I hope they get found out but very unlikey in this day and age

Re: Tues 30/1

Bas*ards the lot of them. Why cant they just leave things alone. Its probably no bl**dy good to them or anyone else if they`ve just ripped it off and left the wiring like you say.

Good luck on the fishing front though. Sounds like quite a busy day. I`m going out there with my cousin on Saturday. I`ll be fishing the ebb though and i`ve ordered my lug this time.

Exactly, I don't think it will evn get used. It makes you suspicious too.

I am out on Sat too - will fish low water and then the flood til high and come in about 7 in the dark. I find the first two hours of the flood and the two hours before high water the most productive times. Am about to order my lug - the cod don't seem to be interested in anything else.

Nice bag there mate, but real shame about the damage. Hope they get what's coming to them....

Re: Tues 30/1

Great to see you bagged a few , shame there wasn't 240 v wired through the panel , fried thieving scum may also work well for cod and if not the thought of it works well for me! Have a good weekend, may well be out Saturday myself.

Cheers Dave
