Question Sudbrook - hows it fishing at the mo ?

Ive never been there, thinking about giving it a try in the very near future, does anyone know how Sudbrook is fishing at the moment?

hi tony, looking at the other forums it seems as if the other side ( avonmouth / servern beach ) is a better bet at the mo. I travel past sudbrook quite often and not seen anyone about there for a while so draw yuor own conclusions. good luck wherever you end up, simon.

Re: Sudbrook - hows it fishing at the mo ?

To be honest I havent been there much this winter - infact Ive only managed 4 outings this winter off the shore.

As I work in Avonmouth Im fishing a mark just round there and its been very good early season but the other night me and Shads fished it for 3 hours on a 13m tide - only one cod to about 3lb to Shads - last cast of the day !

I think the shore cod fishing has quitened down since the peak time of October - mid November but from what I gather theres still a few to be had if you are willing to put the time in when its cold and wet !
