Carling wales sac went out on the Kobe and Benjoma Too.
we started off quiet away out to try and get out the fresh water where we picked up the odd doggie and ray but just before we up anchored a small codling hit the gunnels at around 2lb it wasn't going to beat any records.

The Benjoma was fishing a little bit further out and was hitting conger ray and those swansea bay trout.

we decided to try the north bouy where we picked up 4 more small codling this when benjoma came and fished the same area they had 5 codling best fish went 8lb 8oz

all in all a very hard day on hind site would problably better off had we got wet and went to barry although russel went out further and picked up 10 cod-ling

The fish only seemed to go for the black lug as the one guy on board who had did well.

Nice day fishing mate - interesting about the black lug

when only 12 fish in total are landed on one boat and the guy with the blacks catches 6 of them which is the only difference to the baits he's fishing to mine as I could only get blow lug then I think that the key ingredient on this particular day was black lug.

Fishing was hard with just one doggie for me baits were changed 15-20mins and baits used were 1lb rag 1lb 2 boxes of squid

The Blacks allways do the biz,and out perform other worms,Why is a mystery...Got to agree the fishing this year is hard,but some decent fish coming along now and again...
