| Bristol Channel report.......6 to 12 Nov Between wind and big big tides the fishing last week was a bit "hard" at times.We did manage to pluck a few nice fish out,with sunday bringing 3 double figure cod,a cracking end to a tough weeks fishing. Nothing stops the Doggies and whiting ...always around in the channel  A suprise Dover Sole,on monday brightened the day up.  Thursday brought a flat calm,sunny day,more like july than the middle of November  16lb Blonde ray,best fish of the day  Friday and Saturday brought small codling,whiting rays and strap congers   Sunday was a much calmer day,and the fish came on to feed...3 double figure Cod made the day a cracker ,with several smaller Cod,whiting,doggies and lots of strap Congers Richard with the best Cod of the day at 16LB  A cracking 12lb fish  Even i managed to get in amongst the fish with a 10lb fish      |

| Re: Bristol Channel report.......6 to 12 Nov Richard what happened.......... you weren't talking long enough to concentrate on the fishing or mike has being playing with photoshop again...its amazing what he can do with a 1lb codling..... congratulations mate i'm only jealous after my dismal performance on monday when i had to resort in lasooing dogfish with the hook length for any sort of sport... whack it on ice till next sundary ....errrmm i'll get my coat john |
