27/10 Cardiff

Fished from 0800 this morning in the Estuary. First at the mid Cardiff where we had a dogfish fest and 1 conger. It got too choppy abot 0930 so we tucked in by the gas tanks on the foreshore. More doggies, 1 codling and a small whiting. Got the 1245 lock in and got back to the car just as it started to rain!
Anyone else out?

Computer says YES! Weather, according to http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/...p?zipcode=Cf11 on Sunday is looking good. Unfortunately have spent my money and have to fininsh decorating the dining room. Hmmmmm.

Havnt been out for a couple of weeks now mate. I`m off to get some rag now for a session tomorrow. I`ll let you know how I get on.

Might see you out there Pete. I hope to get the 7am lock and head up towards North Cardiff. Weather looks quite good. Light wind in the general direction of south to west, but sometimes north or east. I think it depends what time the met-men stick their heads out the window. It should be light anyway but.......lol. lol.thrice lol.

I`m off to get some rag now anyway. Got some squid in the freezer. See you at sea......

Sunday's looking good , they all seem to be agreeing on light winds.Spoke with a few mates out yesterday and it was very hit and miss.A few cod up to 8lb on one boat but none on the other two. Going to head to Mid Grounds or Clevedon as they are showing up that way and the tides a good height-hope the waters not full of crap after this rain though. Cheers Dave

Yup, weather looking excellent for tomorrow, were out at 4am heading up to the English / Welsh for the flood time, hopefully there will be a few cod about, see you out there or give us a call on VHF - may be worth a call to see if theres any point heading up that way.
