good luck andy (keana) if you get out tommorrow.

Nice one Pete. At least you got out and found a few fish. The weather beat me. Far too windy for my little tub. At least the weather men got it right this time. I`ll try again next weekend.

hi andy,
yeah we got out but it was very uncomfortable, saw a few small boats out there but they must have found as difficult as we did and in the end safety has to come first, catch you soon.

Nice one chaps - not having fished out of Penarth is it the Easterlys that make it uncomfortable ? Im hoping to put our boat in tomorrow and was thinking about a few hours out on the water but maybe it would be ebst to leave for another day with the Easterly forecast ?

A light easterly is uncomfortable but fishable....the bigger easterly`s make it very dodgy in small boats, and theres the old and usually true sayin

"when the winds in the east the fish bite least "

If its light easterly....F3-4 you can mooch around to Barry and it will be pretty calmbut beware the Ranny it can get VERY choppy and the swells are extremly confused ,coming at you from all directions.Very dangerous at times.

Couldn`t agree more Mike. I can vouch for that. Nearly cost me dear on a couple of occasions. I`ll certainly think twice about wasting my time on an easterly again.
