A bit late now but the Sand Spit at St Marys Well Bay (low water)is always worth a try this time of year especially on a Spring tide. I had a 9lb cod and a 3lb Bass there at the end of September 2 years ago. Big Ragworm bait and a minimum 6oz breakaway cast as far as possible. A strong westerly wind will help get that lead out there.
