Sudbrook today !

Chaps,

Got to Sudbrook this morning at 6. 30am in the warm air and calm conditions -one other chap there who had just arrived and one other arrived shortly either.

Had a good chat with one guy and he mentioned that a 7LB cod had been caught at Goldcliffe last week and Id heard of a few cod starting to show.

End result from today was a 5 pound conger and a cod just under 2Lb which was returned for another day - my fisrt of the season ! The other 2 blokes also had a cod each which were a little bigger so the signs are looking very promising !!

Lets just hope it keeps going cause last year it started well and fell away about a month later - they are wicked looking fish !

Pross - better to make it an early morning session mate cause otherwise it gets well and truly rammed ! All fish caught on rag worm with very small bit of squid.
