The bigger boat will come in time but I have to persevere with this one for now. Quite adventurous though and I really am enjoying it. You guys with the boats have been doing it for years probably and are well used to the conditions out there. I`ve only been boating since last November so still learning, and obviously very naive. We learn from our mistakes though....(If we live to fight another day that is). Maybe I should stick to the beach. |
Hi ,Andy had a similar experience last season, left Knab Rock,Mumbles,1/2 S/W ,loveley got off the outer banks approx 6 miles off Oxwich headlands,weather decided too have a laugh with me, 18 knots and 35 mins later got onto our mark, weather decided too swing S/SE 5/6 2 "n" half hours later limped back onto the Knab slipway, VERY WARY, and underware a tad heavier than when i left ,But beleive me Andy it does get better?????
