| big tides this weekend just wondering if anybody fished out of cardiff this weekend.went down to the boat yesterday ( saturday ).thought i would just have alook outside the barriage first, wise decision as there was a lot of lumpy water out there, i have never seen so much water.so decided to give it a miss and do a bit of cleaning on the boat instead.booked day off for next friday so we will see how it goes then. plugger  peter     |

I wanted to go round to Sully but the wind was still blowing North easterly then. The forecast said it would drop to about 7 mph but I wasnt prepared to take the chance. I actually motored over to the Rannie to see what it was like. I could have gone but bottled it just in case it turned foul later. Anyway, fished Mid Cardiff, North Cardiff and the foreshore. All I had for a days fishing was a dogfish and about 6 congers, the biggest about 5 lb. Great suntan though. | Re: big tides this weekend hi andy, glad to hear you had no problems on your trip out on sunday, nice couple of fish you had there. as i said in a previous post had a look on sat but thought better of it. booked day off for next friday so really looking forward to that now,if you are out give us a call on the radio, boat is called gust 2. plugger peter |
