| english welsh grounds/ aberthaw 1/7/o6 after careful concideration decided not to fish e/w grounds and went to aberthaw instead. locked out at 11am in glorious sunshine and flat calm sea. steamed down to aberthaw a trip of about 50 mins. alchored at 12 noon just about low water. a bit slow for first hourthen had first bite spotted ray 5/6lb. then we had a couple hours with the usual doggies strap congers etcthen about 6pm my mate neil had a cracking bite on uptide rod a blonde ray 15lb, couldnt get camera on phone to work. about 7pm getting ready to call it a day when noticed a rattle on my uptide rod reeled into it and thought this aint no doggie, couple mins later netted 10lb bass first one on the boat for me. well chuffed as it was my birthday as well, and i have a piccie as well, will post it when i learn how to do it. a great days fishing. all the better catches fell to frozen sand eel. plugger  peter     |

I have my boat in Exmouth in the summer and will have it in Penarth in the winter - maybe I should look at having it in the Bristol all year - 10 pounder - superb mate well done once again ! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up ! |
