Nash/Aberthaw 11 June ...Smoothound action.

A cool overcast day turned out to be a cracking flat calm sunny day 26 hounds boated ,lots of double figure, starry and commons, plus plenty of doggies, tope, conger and rays.........

First fish of the day 14lb Tope for Andy...

Shortly followed by an 18lb Conger for Richard...

And plenty of Smoothies for everyone...Starry and Commons...

John"Lazy Hooker",with a 10lb 10oz Starry

Mark "pross" with his first boat caught Starry a cracking 10 pounder.

Richard with the best Smoothie of the day @11lb 12oz

Multiple hook up kept Dan and i busy with the net.

I did find a quiet moment to sneak this 10lb 12oz Smoothie out.

Andy with a cracking common and a serious sunburn !!!

Re: Nash/Aberthaw 11 June ...Smoothound action.

Excellent day out. Thanks to Mike and Dan for putting us on the fish, Richard for the load of the ABU 7000 (although he could do with practicing his knots! ) and everyone on the trip for the top advice and patience with a complete beginner asking questions all day! If anyone wants to enjoy a fantastic days fishing in the Bristol Channel then Mike, Dan and the Lady Helen should be your first choice even I managed 2 smoothies and a doggie!! A word of warning though, if you go out and they cook you sausages take a fire extinguisher with you (can anyone else smell a barbecue?)
