new species for boat

left on 8am lock out, to fish regular markat low water which seems to produce fish regulary. didnt wait long before the kennels opened and the doggies started to appear, must have had 20 in the first hour.
upped anchor and moved down to a mark off sully island but nothing happening there and thwind got up a bit so we headed back to previous mark as didnt fancy being bashed about in south eastely wind, time for tea and freshly cooked (must add by me ) sausage sandwiches yum yum.
as the tide started running my m8 had nice bite on down tide rod baited with crab and squid 11lb conger biggest fish on board so far.with the three of us still cathing doggies the m8 with the conger gets another good bite and lands a 6lb cod, now me and ian is contemplating practising the man over board prcedure with neil,( only joking honest) he gets another bite on uptide rod,and brings on board 8lb thornback ray (lucky b#####d)the first on boat.wind got up a bit so we decided to call it a day and headed back for 3o,clock lock in.not abad day for neil, i think i will stick to cooking.

seems to be that apart from the dogs the fish are getting bigger but the numbers smaller.

Re: new species for boat

hi bm

it gets a bit boring when someone else on board is catching different species
but it is great just being out there.
