| penarth report 29/4/06 fished the same mark as last week just out of penarth, waited long time for first bite strap conger 8lb, the had doggies for a while then had a rod bending bite from what seemed to be a big conger only to be bitten off, ( must make some wire traces). next fish to show was a nice cod of 6lb, things got quiet after that thinking of packing up when had aknock on last rod out just as the lady helen passed us on its way in, anyway played it in right ip to the boat only to lose it when i grabbed the trace,looked to be double figure fish, bit of shame would have been biggest fish on boat so far  baits used frozen lug, peeler crab,squid, mackeral, rag and sandeel. is this the end of the cod ? plugger  peter     |
