| Lady Helen 29 April....Fishing in the sun !!!!! Cracking day ,sun blazing at 8 am, so off we head towards Aberthaw in search of an early Smoothound. No Smoothies around but the fishings picking up nicely, with Conger, Doggies in abundance, Bull huss, Rays of several kinds,Good sized Rockling,and even a stray whiting. Mixture of up and down tiding with Squid and Mackerel doing the biz on the day. Spotted Ray  Some good Thornbacks caught ,the best at 8 LB  10Lb Bull Huss,one of half a dozen caught  Lots of Strap congers ...  3 bearded Rockling......      |
